    Founder

Welcome! I’m Courtney Jaeckle, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas, committed to walking alongside adults (18+) navigating life’s most difficult seasons. Whether you're dealing with trauma, chronic illness, anxiety, or depression, my goal is to create a safe and healing environment where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

My counseling approach is rooted in Christian values and integrates evidence-based practices, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), to promote deep healing. I also incorporate nature-based therapies—such as outdoor sessions, equine therapy, and pet therapy—to foster peace, presence, and personal growth.

I have a special heart for first responders and veterans, honoring their unique experiences and providing focused care that addresses trauma, stress, and identity shifts tied to service.

At the core of my work is a mission to reflect the love of Christ through compassionate, professional counseling that helps clients reclaim hope, build resilience, and experience meaningful transformation.

If you're ready to begin your healing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

    Christal Mihalo, MS, LPC

I’m Christal, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with over 28 years of clinical experience. I hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from National-Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Judson University in Illinois.

I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you’re feeling stuck in a cycle you can’t break, overwhelmed by racing thoughts, or unsure of your next step, know that you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Are you feeling lost, isolated, or emotionally exhausted? Do you struggle to find the words to explain how you really feel? My heart's desire is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can express yourself freely, gain clarity, feel heard, and start your journey toward healing and transformation.

Together, we can explore what’s holding you back and help you move forward with confidence, peace, and renewed purpose.

Chronic Illness

  • Have you or your loved one been diagnosed with a chronic illness? Getting out of bed, playing with your kids, or even going to work can seem overwhelming. At times you might feel like there is no hope. I can relate to some of your pains and struggles. It is because of my own journey that I feel God has called me to Christian Counseling to help others dealing with chronic illnesses. Don’t suffer with your pain alone, hope is near!

Spiritual Counseling

  • Life can feel overwhelming—even as a person of faith. You may be praying, reading Scripture, and doing “all the right things,” yet still struggling with anxiety, sadness, burnout, or questions that feel too heavy to carry alone.

Christian counseling offers a space where your emotional health and your spiritual walk come together. In our one-on-one sessions, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface—through a lens of grace, compassion, and truth.

Whether you're navigating a personal crisis, wrestling with doubt, or simply longing for deeper peace, I’m here to walk with you—with understanding, clinical care, and a faith-based perspective rooted in God’s love.

Individual Counseling

  • Individual therapy is a chance to slow down and focus on you. In a world that demands so much of your time, energy, and emotional bandwidth, therapy gives you a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, navigating a major life change, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply want to feel more like yourself again, we’re here to help.

In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface—at your pace, in your way. Together, we’ll build awareness, develop practical tools, and work toward the clarity and peace you’re looking for.
